High Pressure High Temperature Drilling & Completions Conference

HPHT expert users and engineers discuss challenges and successes of HPHT Drilling & Completions.

CALL FOR PAPERS
Deadline for submission: 12 March 2010

Gulf Publishing Company cordially invites you to submit an abstract for the World Oil High Pressure High Temperature Drilling & Completions Conference to be held 29-30 September 2010 in Houston, Texas. In pursuit of reservoirs more than 15,000 feet below the earth's surface in conditions with temperatures reaching beyond 350 degrees F and unprecedented pressure levels, operators are confronted with unforeseen drilling and completion challenges. This conference will offer you a forum to discuss, share and learn about these types of drilling conditions.

Presentations at the 2010 conference will be a high level, two-day technical conference devoted to knowledge sharing and best practices in HPHT Drilling. The presentations presented will include industry research and case profiles.

Topics to be considered (but not limited to) are:

• Successful case histories of deep wells being drilled
• Equipment Development
• Lessons Learned
• Operator Plans for HPHT
• New Materials
• HPHT Rig Upgrades
• HPHT Interventions
• High Temperature MWD-LWD Developments
• HPHT Completions

Please submit abstracts for consideration by 12 March 2010. Abstracts should be approximately 250 words in length and should include all authors, affiliations, pertinent contact information, and proposed speaker (who will present the paper). Please submit via email to Abstracts@WorldOil.com.

Presentations should be non-commercial in nature, with a technical focus that appeals to drilling engineers, drilling managers, producing or operating company personnel involved in operations and management of drilling and completion activities, as well as service companies and drilling contractors involved in advanced drilling technologies.
