Centrifugal Compressor Design and Rating

Design and rate centrifugal compressors with this easy-to-use program. It also includes a database of 30 component gases to which the user can add or delete gases. Based on the theories of Elliott and Ingersoll-Rand, the program will:
- Design a compressor and analyze a multi-stage compressor with up to four stages of compression. It can also determine a proper number of stages for a desired service based on a maximum gas temperature.
- Analyze the performance of an existing compressor by calculating new operating conditions based on the design operating conditions and curve and the actual process conditions. Then it will display the performance curve, flow versus discharge.
- Calculate the thermodynamic properties of a gas mixture, including molecular weight, critical temperature, critical pressure, specific heat ratio, and gas constant.
Note: This DOS based software may not work as expected on newer Windowstm operating systems, particularly with respect to printing.
